Book Review: The Professional (part 1)

A smart, sexy, fast paced story about two people who must deny their combustible attraction to one another. Did that read correctly? Do I sound like a book jacket trying to sell you this story?
But that is really what it is. Cole sure knows how to write some smokin’ hot scenes. I know cause I read some of her older books after reading the palpable chemistry (smut lust) here.
I can’t comment too much on the overall plot. It’s made of convincing situations that put the two leads in convenient fantasy situations. It is what it is and for what it is, it’s exceptional!
What sucks though? Why is this a three part book? Touché publishers, for making me feel like oh, $1.99 is cheap for a book!
But thank you the professional for showing me Ms. Cole is more than paranormal.
